6 Steps to Having Beautiful, Glowing Skin

Getting your skin to look its best can be hard work, but it doesn’t have to be! Taking a few simple steps can help you to keep your skin looking healthy and glowing.

First, it’s important to make sure you’re drinking enough water every day. Water helps flush out toxins from your body, including from your skin. Aim for at least 8 glasses of water per day, and more if you’re exercising or spending time in the sun. I love this half gallon water bottle! It keeps me motivated to continue drinking throughout the day, and it's got a convenient pouch to hold your phone while walking or exercising!

Next, make sure you’re getting enough sleep. It’s recommended that adults get 7-9 hours of sleep per night to stay healthy and alert. Sleep helps your body to repair itself and can also help to keep your skin looking its best.

Third, be sure to eat a healthy, balanced diet. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables will give your skin the vitamins and minerals it needs to stay healthy. And don’t forget to include some healthy fats, like avocado and fish, in your diet to keep your skin looking hydrated.

Fourth, use sunscreen when you’re outside. Sun damage can cause wrinkles and age spots, so make sure you’re protecting your skin with sunscreen when you’re spending time outside. This sunscreen I found is eco-friendly, and protects against both UVA & UVB rays. It even protects and regenerates your skin cells!! Talk about a win-win!

Fifth, use a gentle cleanser when you’re washing your face. Be sure to avoid harsh cleansers or scrubs that can strip your skin of its natural oils.

Finally, exfoliate your skin once or twice a week. Exfoliating helps to remove dead skin cells, which can leave your skin looking dull and dry. Use a gentle scrub and don’t scrub too hard, as this can cause irritation.

These are just a few tips to help you keep your skin looking healthy and glowing. With a few simple steps, you can have beautiful, glowing skin that looks and feels its best.
